About Us

We are Cullen and Victoria, two Americans who left our jobs at the ripe age of 26 to see the world (at least the Southeast Asian corner of it). After spending nearly a month driving across America, we hopped a one-way flight to Thailand. Armed with a stack of CV’s we landed in Krabi Town, found teaching jobs and started exploring.  We have since developed a passion for travel and the excitement that comes with being somewhere new. There is something absolutely indescribable about exploring a new place, meeting different people, experiencing diverse cultures, and seeing just how big the world really is.

Our travel style falls somewhere in-between that of a flashpacker and a backpacker. In other words, we live fairly cheap, getting by just fine in basic rooms eating local cuisine, but every once in awhile we will opt for a night of swank accommodation and a western meal. After a long day we rarely skimp on a good happy hour.  We typically enjoy seeking out the less explored corners of our destinations.

After nearly two years of travel we have compiled some of our favorite destinations, itineraries, and travel tips. Although some of the greatest adventures are those you stumble upon on your own, we hope that some of our information will serve as an inspiration for you to break routine and do something different. You never know what doors might open.
